STOP TALKING

Ok, the title sounds angry. But it's not. Not really...LOL That's what Nana said to me this weekend when I attempted to ask some pretty serious questions.

If you remember I had asked my girls some pretty hard questions not too long ago, well I went and did it again!
I stole Borrowed some more questions from mommablogsalot. Here is her bio: My name is Jen and I am the stay at home mother of an amazingly clever seven year old boy dubbed “MM” who never ceases to amaze me with his intelligence, kindness and charm and an adorable little dictator three year old daughter “BB” who can go from sugar and spice to temper tantrum central in less than ten seconds – she’s addicted to all things princess and would eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for every meal if I let her.

Here is the crap fun answers we got this time!:
Diva age 4
Nana age 2
My thoughts are in blue

What is the meaning of life?
Nana: Kept saying no. Not sure how profound that is...
Diva: (in her exact words) God made us alive and we need to try to don't be dead.  Well there you have it folks! The end!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Nana: She just repeated my suggestions... a dentist! a dr!
Diva: A singer. (I asked her if she's a good singer, she said "no, not till i'm a grown up")
What brings you the most happiness? (i had to rephrase this one a few different ways..)
Nana: YOU! (me! hehe i love it!)
Diva: When daddy is playing with us
When do you feel the most loved? (I had to rephrase this one a lot)
Nana: Dear God, after hugging (i'm still not sure if she gets the question, but that answer makes sense!)
Diva: I don't know (miserable)

What are you afraid of?
Nana: A monster! (so matter of fact)
Diva: When we go to bed, and the light is off, my dresser looks like a wolf (that's the first I've ever heard of it...)
If you had one wish, what would you wish for?
Nana: Ummmmm (that's all she did, then looked at me blankly for a long/creepy time)
Diva: A toy. who is grumpy like daddy (hahaha what?)
What is the funniest word?
Nana: I don't know. (then she started laughing for no reason , i think the word she thinks is funny, is the word "funny")
Diva: Googley. She uses that one a lot. It is pretty funny
What is the hardest/easiest thing to do?
Nana: *Stares blankly at me* So... apparently the hardest thing to do is answer this question.
Diva: Hardest :(I wish i was lying...) Nothing is hard for me, I can do everything!
Easiest: Turn on the TV (Fox practically gave her this answer... jerk lol)

What is the best/worst thing in the world?
Nana: She answered Daddy for both parts of this question
Diva: Best : Daddy (darn those kids....) Worst: our house. I want a big house with an outside door (HEY that's MY line!)
What makes you mad?
Nana: Daddy (I kept telling him to leave the room, because she's only two, and has no brain yet, and he's very cute distracting)
Diva: Cousins not sharing, and nobody listening to me (me too baby... like when YOU don't listen to me)
What is the meaning of love?
Nana: No (aaaand she's had enough of the questions)
Diva: People love people and kiss EW
If you had all the money in the world, what would you do with it?
Nana:  STOP TALKING
Diva: I had to ask this question a few times, because she was getting distracted (see cute daddy...) here are her 2 answers : 1.An angry mommy. I already have an angry mommy, I'm going to buy another one. (What the hell??) 2. Biggest kitty that can stomp on people (why is she so miserable!!???)
So, in conclusion, my kids get distracted VERY easily, and have some work to do in the areas of career choices, and money management.
Also, daddy is very distracting :)
That cutie in the fedora is my nephew. Lub Lub :)

The lady with the yellow hair who says bad things

The other day I was randomly reading blogs I've never read before. I had magically found one that sounded right up my alley!
mommablogsalot Here is her bio: My name is Jen and I am the stay at home mother of an amazingly clever seven year old boy dubbed “MM” who never ceases to amaze me with his intelligence, kindness and charm and an adorable little dictator three year old daughter “BB” who can go from sugar and spice to temper tantrum central in less than ten seconds – she’s addicted to all things princess and would eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for every meal if I let her.

She had done a question and answer with her kids and I thought it was just brilliant, so I asked her if I could steal use her questions, and blog about it. :).. She said yes

Diva age 4
Nana age 2
My thoughts are in blue

1. What do I do for fun?
Nana: She just started pointing to random crap. Like the table.. her arm... Even when I asked the next day, started pointing to her food....
Diva: I don't know.. Nothing. you're not fun (ouch)

2. What’s my favorite TV show?
Nana: Pointed to the news and also said "kid shows"
Diva: That show with the girl with yellow hair who says bad things (I laughed so hard at that one, and had no idea what show she was talking about, until later that night, when i sat down to watch Chelsea Lately... HAHAHAHA)

3. What do I drink?
Nana: TEA (She yelled it out. I do drink tea... sometimes. when i'm sick)
Diva:Water (finally, an answer that makes sense. She only sees me drink water or coffee any given day, although i'm equally  surprised and relieved she didn't say wine)

4.What do I eat?
Nana: Pancakes (I do love a good pancake. Haven't made them in a while. Do you think she was projecting....)
Diva: Tuna Casserole (HAHAHA IT IS MY FAVOURITE!! WE HAVE A WINNER!)

5.What do I like to read?
Nana: She MIMED a person reading. Um, I don't think she understands that i'm asking her questions, not telling her to FIND stuff...
Diva: People books? (Diva has gone through this "phase" of calling kids, kids and adults, people. She doesn't seem to get that kids are people too... lol)

6.What do I wear?
Nana: Dresses (nope... I'm not at all a dress person... I try...)
Diva: A dress um .. a shirt. (that's all I wear? and why do my kids think I wear dresses???? and where are my pants?)

7.What do I do with my friends?
Nana: "Plays with her" is her exact answer. How does a grown woman play with her friends? lol
Diva: Talk and don't play. (she's so miserable eh? but yes, we do mostly talk, and mostly don't play.)

8. What is my favorite song?
Nana: Someone like you  (to be fair, it's the only song she knows, and she requests it every 5 minutes, so of course that was her guess. I do love Adele) (but nope)
Diva: Beat it.. um Michael Jackson. (Um again, THOSE ARE THEIR FAVOURITE SONGS!)

9.What do I do when you’re napping?
Nana: Sleep. (As much as i'd love to say that I nap when she naps.... My house is just to dirty to relax during the day)
Diva: Go to bed, and don't talk. (I'm not sure if she's telling ME to go to bed and don't talk, or if she's saying That's what I do, or if she's repeating what I tell them night after night...)

10.What do I do when you’re in bed at night?
Nana: On the floor. (that was her answer. What does that mean Nana? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?)
Diva: Tuck me in... I don't know. (That's right.. and you don't want to know.. HAHA)

In conclusion, Nana is silly, and still has yet to figure out... basically anything. And Diva, really lives up to her name :)

M is for mom and milk and moooooooooo

No that title has nothing really to do with this post. I just couldn't think of any other M words.. at all! (ok, Monday...) (oooh and Milk of Magnesia) (and Mongolia)
ummm quick read this:
Here are some of the ridiculous things that have come out of my two girls mouths lately:

Nana:
"Happy bedtime day!" (= happy mothers day... )
"The lady bug is not going to bite daddys mouth" (we were in the car... no bugs and no daddy...)
" i'm purdy mommy!" (yes you are punk)
" I don't want cold milk, I want soft milk. No not hot milk, SOFT MILK." (we heated it up, because that's how we always give it to her. Apparently soft means warm... )
"I so mesited mommy! To see Uncle Chelle and Machine!" (Uncle Chelle= @whoismich, Machine = my cousin Meeghan)

Diva:
"Where are my ideas!?" (Took 10 minutes to realize Ideas = Adidas)
"FIND!" (as in fine... i'll go put my toys away. Even after correcting her every day, she still replaces the word fine, with find)

Diva doesn't really have any fun things coming out of her mouth these days, she's just so damn miserable!!!!! I need supernanny!!!!!!

Mothers day was pretty good in my house, I got to sleep in (yay!!), breakfast in bed (yummy yay!) flowers and a gift card for a mani pedi, then at my moms house I got a handmade necklace (from mom) and a beautiful painting from each daughter. Looks like puke and gold spray paint :) Le Sigh, the years of SUPER awesome art begins... LOL I hope next year I get macaroni necklesses... i'll actually wear them all day too.
